Come join us for the Western Regional Noyce Network (WNRN) networking gathering at the California Science Education Conference in Sacramento, CA November 8th-10th, 2024
The networking meeting is open to anyone involved with an active or former Noyce program. Networking events will focus on planning and debriefing your conference experience, networking educators with similar interests from other Noyce programs, and developing a plan to take what you learn at the conference back to your classroom, school, and district. The Friday night meeting and reception will include a poster session where participants can share data and results from teaching projects they have been working on as a way of connecting with others.
We’ll get together on Friday at 6pm on November 8th in Convention Center Room 5 for some social time and conversations on how to approach the conference. We’ll gather again at 7am on the morning of Sunday, November 10th in Convention Center Room 4 for breakfast and debriefing on what we learned in sessions and networking opportunities we can pursue.
A stipend will be provided for the first 30 Noyce program members (scholars and recent alums) to sign-up and attend the Friday and Sunday sessions. If you wish to present a poster at the Friday evening session, please indicate this in the registration form. Paperwork for the stipends will be completed on Sunday morning.
